It's been a while since I open 3ds Max, and I kinda forget some tools or maybe this one is not exist yet. I want to make the UV straight without getting rid of the triangle on the mesh. Is there any way to do it? I tried the "reshape element" but then the result was worst than this. I put the image at the bottom after the "reshape element". Is there anything that I can do other than making it quad? I tried to search it online, but I cannot find it.
Thank you!

select the outer border one edge at a time, align the verts until it's straight. then select and relax the inner verts or, use relax using ignore outer border.
Could you give some screenshot for it? I understand until the outer border edge 😅
Not used max for quite awhile but it's UVW native tools as I recall (2013 or slightly later version?!) was a bit tricky to work with so decided to alternatively download Textools which for me at least streamlined an otherwise tedious task.
Since then, further development has seen additional features such as Rectify - straighten UV shells plus Align Edge - a similar operation too what @killnpc described above...etc
Anyway, maybe worth a look.
sure, here you go riowahab
WOW! THIS IS IT! I will give it a try now! Thanks a lot!! 😀
you could also select all and keep the boundary points fixed on relax.
Thank you for your reply, how do you keep the boundary points fixed? I tried to Google which one is boundary point, but I could not find it 😅
It's the tickbox as seen in the image killnpc posted of the relax tools.
