3ds max Ornatrix to UE5 carpet problem

Hi everyone, I could use some help with this groom issue I'm having here. I think this is rather a UE5 problem than Max but I may be wrong.
I have a carpet done with Ornatrix, exported as alembic, imported to UE5 and now the problem is no matter how my shader is built it always shows the carpet as completely black. The only setting that changes anything is when i plug some emissive in and then I can see some change. Attaching a screenshot.
It seems to me that Lumen isn't even seeing the carpet. Looking at the scene through visualize lumen the carpet is just not visible.
Id appreciate your help!
