Hey folks,
I'm just finishing my first material in Designer, barely know what I'm doing - I was pretty happy with how it looked in Designer, using tesselation and a value of 1 for the depth - On import into Unreal just using the normal map, the texture looks really flat.
I guess I need to go back and dial in the levels etc - but if anyone has any input or advice on getting good depth from ones outputted normal map, or how to increase or manage the depth/dimension of the normal maps (maybe a node or a setting?) - or really anything you think might be even remotely helpful that would be cool too cuz I'm just getting started with this software.
Thank you kindly.

For a "big" displacement you should use Height (Displacement) map but you can increase intensity in Normal node https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/sddoc/normal-172825289.html
Best include screenshots (height and normal). Maybe the slope is too steep?
