It doesn't like the high res obj.
Where did you export it from?
Is it very small (i.e it came straight from zbrush)?
Hey! Thank you very much for your answer... I exported the high resolution object fom zbrush and the low poly made retopology.
It sounds strange, as I said the baking was working correctly, suddenly I cannot do anymore, the log showing this message.
For now I am baking with XNORMAL, it is not so good as sunbnstance painter, but works.. Actyuually I tryed to uninstall and install again my substance painter.. it doesn't work, cannot bake maps.
Some days before this post I was baking with substancer, sudeenly no longer can do it.. strange bug
The last two lines in your log are the important ones. In fact, the GPU error is saying your drivers are too new and it doesn't recognise them, but that's unlikely to cause this issue (if it was, SP would just crash on you).
Can you bake anything at all? Make a fresh project, bake a beveled cube to a cube. Or, try baking your LP onto itself. If that works, the issue is with your HP.
I'd encourage you to understand the cause, because being able to troubleshoot things like this is really important. :)
No, the important part is the list of errors about not being able to properly read the high res mesh..
That will cause the bake to fail, old drivers almost certainly will not
The question here is what happened to the mesh between the last successful bake and the one that failed.
The "No" bit sounds like you're disagreeing with me, but then you go on to agree with what I said... 😋
It's the three linea above those that explain what the problems with the mesh are. The last two just tell you it didn't work
Fair point, although I get the error/warning about 'some triangles being too small' sometimes and still get successful bakes.
i agree about troubleshoot part, even to me i always encounter small issue not relate to substance painter and i try produce the issue so can fix it 😊
