Hi, everyone!
So, I posted my portfolio here about four months ago, and thanks to all the advice from the wonderful Polycount members set about improving it. Now I'm looking for a job as a junior 3D modeler (environment props), and I would really appreciate some more tips on what else I can tweak to make the portfolio more appealing. Any suggestions are welcome, as always! 😊
Here's my Artstation page: https://www.artstation.com/ohwhy_art
Figured it's better to just provide a link than to try and squeeze all the images in here...
Cheers!

I'm not in the industry, but I believe your portfolio could benefit from some more complex models, at least some things to show you have a working understanding of subd modelling, baking, topology, etc. It would also benefit from presenting your models in a way that shows understanding of art fundamentals (design, composition, anatomy)
This thread has helped me a lot in learning to model more complex shapes, same with Arrimus 3D's requests playlist:
(That is just the first video in a series where he goes over common shapes that are difficult to model.) He also has a playlist of design ideas and fundamentals.
The polycount Wiki generally has a lot of great resources as well! Hope this helps :)
It sure does, thanks a ton! I've looked at Arrimus' vids but somehow missed this playlist, I'll go check it out :)
