[Full Time + Remote] Senior 3D Character Artist - IMMEDIATE START
Fief is seeking a Senior 3D Character Artist to join the initial creative team for Fief: Blood and Coin.
In this role, you will be a part of the creation of an entirely new player-owned world. This role is for the self-starter who wants to help set the creative tone for a new class of characters and in-game items.

- Fief’s first game project, Fief: Blood and Coin, is a medieval-fantasy strategy game that sets the player in charge of a guild faction-affiliated character with economic gameplay determined by real-world marketplace activity and dynamic lore.
Role Responsibilities
- You will be tasked with the conceptualization and creation of eye-popping characters and a wide variety of in-game assets, such as weapons, armor, economic tools and more.
- This role requires a startup-mentality and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
- As an early member of the creative team, you will be instrumental in establishing early art direction
- You will work with the Fief leadership team to achieve specific objectives related to new asset introduction into the Blood and Coin economy
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a character artist, working on at least one AAA title is a big plus.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience of high-end character & prop modeling, sculpting and PBR materials.
- Strong experience using Maya/Photoshop/3D Painter/Zbrush/Mudbox
- Must have a strong portfolio of realistic human characters, weapons, armor, and other related accessories.
- Ability to mentor and share knowledge effectively.
- Adjacent skills in illustration and concept art is a plus
- Must be a fan of economic and strategy gaming!
