I'm working on this commission, it's my first time sculpting a character, and I'm looking or feedback on the general forms and anatomy. I think it looks a bit wonky, especially from the side. I'm trying to match (or at least resemble) the face to the image supplied to me:
I'm finding that it lines up from the front (mostly), but it falls apart when viewed from the side.
The overall anatomy also looks a bit strange from the side as well:
Any advice would be much appreciated! I'm still sculpting at a pretty low poly level, but I'm hoping to get help in fixing up the overall forms before I refine all of it. I'm also going to rig it, so any advice on how to prepare the mesh for that before retopology would help!

Hopefully you been using references but if you haven't better find few good one
Head : I can tell that you don't know generic human head proportion [ideal] so better learn that first Its really simple just a few divisions
Arm and legs : they are usually not straight everything is offset [bone muscles forms] which give you nice rhythm and movement , same with the body in side view everything is offset and balanced
Focus on making a "planes' of the face version of the head before you start deciding to make smoothed curves,e tc.
Thank you so much for the help!
I've polished it up a bit with the advice you gave. I still have some work to do but it's going in a good direction.
