How to get this stylized metal surface detail in Zbrush?
Hello Everyone.
So I've been recently trying to replicate this stylized metal surface detail from Michael Vicente's (Orb) Artstation. This detail is only on the cutting part of the axe, some kind of a squarish smashed shape. Michael wrote an explanation on his Artstation saying that "this is just clay brush strokes, dialed with a morph target". So, I've tried to utilize the info he provided but couldn't really get any decent results so I guess that I'm doing something wrong. There is also a second image, it's an orc keep with the same surface metal detail on metallic parts of the keep. I've also tried playing with the "Orb_HammeredMetal" brush from his brush pack but again wasn't satisfied with the result.
I hope you guys can explain to me how to properly sculpt such surface details and thank you in advance.
