I thought I would start a sketchbook to show my process of a League of Legends asset I am currently planning out.
I will be remaking the blue-side Inhibitor, using a PBR, Substance Painter workflow, rather than hand painting the textures, going for an Overwatch sort of aesthetic.

And here is some quick concept sketches I made to help plan out the separate parts of the model, I think it will be much easier to break it down into a few parts rather than keep the entire thing as one mesh. Although I will probably combine them at the end for the baking and texturing stage, perhaps keeping the crystal separate in order to make animating it easier.

The next stage would be to make some basic blockouts for each of these in Maya
