Happy to share this project here called the Alpha Rex back from last year. I made this with the intention of understanding how the pipeline works from a 2d design to 3d workflow. I started by sculpting the Alpha Rex in Zbrush, blocking in and finding the design. I did some light texturing in zbrush as well but I found Mari to be useful for advance texturing. The entire model was then retopologized in Maya and rendered in Arnold. The tutorial by GAËL KERCHENBAUM on texturexyz was great for learning the overall texturing process in Mari.
