Welcome to the voting thread for our next bi-monthly environment art challenge for July and August 2021!
I want to start out by thanking
@alytlebird for hosting the challenge for the past year and a half! Watching the wonderful work come out of each challenge has been a great motivator and participating has definitely helped me grow as an artist. I hope to continue that tradition into the future!
Below I've provided a concept for each category to get us started. As per the usual, this challenge will offer two environment options and two prop options - 1 hand-painted and 1 realistic / hard surface each. Please
add your own concept ideas if you have any! Whatever concepts get the most
reposts during the voting period will be chosen as our concepts for the
next challenge cycle!
Even if you aren't planning on participating in the challenge, feel free to vote!

Please feel free to
add your own! We are completely open to people posting their own
concepts, but keep in mind that the difficulty level has to be that of
which can be completed in two months' time for the environment, and one
month's time for the prop!
To vote
for your favorite concept(s), post a reply with the image(s) you
prefer. The winning concepts will be chosen on the day of the next challenge, based on votes received. Voting will run until June
30th at 11:59pm PST, and the official challenge thread will go up July
1st, at which point you can begin posting progress.

I like this one.
If you are looking for other options (for now or in the future), I have these bookmarked as fun stylized environments to model: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lVwkeO
I love this one, there's a great opportunity to play with lighting, while keeping a relatively small scope to the scene!
Link in the original post to the artist is broken - here's the fixed version https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ELo3Xe
@engelmanna Some great stylized work in that link you provided! I'll definitely keep those in my back pocket if you don't plan to suggest them for this go around.
@Marshkin Whoops! Good catch on the links, I didn't realize the ending parenthesis was getting caught up in the links. I got that fixed on the original post now, too.
I don't know if this has been posted before but this is a really solid stylized environment as well.

Without further ado though the challenge is now active! Hope to see you over there.
