Hey guys, been working on this environment for a while now, thought I'd share some wips. Concept based off this art piece https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oQL9O.
Initial Blockout - 7th November
Current stage - 16th December
I'd be happy to share breakdowns if you're interested.
Cool stuff! I wish the scale was different so that you'd feel like an ant. I think it would have been more imposing if that archway was huge. Either way, keep at it.
Pretty much finished with this one, just a few minor post tweaks I'll probably end up doing. Taking a break and will be uploading this to artstation in the new year.
This work is awesome this is my first time on this website I'm attending the LA film school to major in animation and I'm looking for an animation community
It's so cool to follow closely the development of your bridge scene. As someone who doesn't create anything on the computer, it gives a good idea of how to create scenes step-by-step.
@JoeMerced93 That's great to hear! I'm not an animator myself, but there's some awesome animators on this site. If it's your first time I'd recommend checking out the animation showcase & critiques page

Just a heads up, I am using megascans for all foliage textures. The moss was created using this tutorial https://polycount.com/discussion/130038/ryse-moss-tutorial/p1 has a much more detail breakdown of the set up.
But here's a breakdown of how I use it to layer up most rocks.
hey appreciate this one!
Update - 20th December
Have a Happy Christmas everyone!
