the braids are done with 3DS Max splines and placed using path deform,
body anatomy and extra wrincles on Zbrush

if you haven't all ready, I would reference the Ghost of Tsushima art dump https://magazine.artstation.com/2020/08/sucker-punch-productions-ghost-of-tsushima-art-blast/ there is tons of things you can pull from them, I know its easier said than done, but try to match that quality.  His face licks a bit off to me, I dunno if its the expression or what, and also the skin shader feels a bit off, and you can use more hair cards to blend from the forehead to the main part of the hair
