Can you help please? :How to create a virtual tour

Hello,

i am 3d modeller (Maya.mudbox), i have an offer from a friend to create a 3d tour oh art gallery/exhibition for the web, i can do the Maya part and final rendering but how do i turn this into an interactive tour , where people stand in front of the  art pieces and get the story about each of them?

I assume there is some kind of 3rd party program obviously but the problem is i never done such a process before  so if you somehow give me some pointers/suggestions about what is an easy way to  do it  and software to use will be greately appreciated .

You'll need to do it in real time.  Get unreal engine 4, read some tutorials and you'll be OK. It won't be particularly difficult to do something simple like this and theres plenty of very knowledgeable people on here who can help you out

well it is to be uploaded to a website for the people to access the art gallery from home , will unreal engine can work  for this purpose?

What kind of interaction is desired? Can you show an example of an existing setup from another project, that you want to emulate?

The only difference is that he wants for the sculptures to  be viewable in 360 as well and some other things that he asked for to be done in 3d environment . so i assume that i have to create the environment in 3d then render it as a video and import it to a Virtual tour software and add hot spots etc? or do i need to export it in a different way from Maya like single frames or if thee is some other form of exporting it for this kind of virtual tour?
