Beginner character animation

Started with character animation. All three are stiff and basic, but you have to start somewhere.

1. The sword slash feels empty. It's simple, my first attempt.

2. I like the ground punch shockwave the most. locky, stiff, but I like it, it works.

3. The bubble shield. The character is stiff, but I love the bubble shield effect

Anyone else just seeing a bunch of images saying "404 - image not found"?

Ball play and throw. The throw is weird, would probably fit more a magical spell than a ball throw. I could probably blame the hand rig...

The ground-pound one is the most interesting. I'd like to see how it looks when it's finished. Just don't forget to add some 'follow through and overlapping action". (Sorry, the only thing I remember from animation class was Disney's 12 principals)

Yeah, current level of these gifs is somewhere between blocking and animation. Need to add follow through, overlapping action and liveliness with some idle animation.
