I'm trying to make a texture through SD that tiles seamlessly the U side with the V side as well as along U and V as usual.In my project i'm trying to achive texturing seamlessly organic schapes like boulders only using tilable textures .
The advantages is that, in open world enviroments, instead of using megascans or models textured individually , only a couple of shared texture .
The problem is that I can only make it through a series of diagonal symmetry blended together and then masking out the centre and many repeated details come up too visible, especially in the corners.
I had a look at the node "make it tile" and "tile it smart" and they make it with some sort of edge detection wich helps a lot to hide the repetition in the pattern.Any idea?
