Camera tracking export from nuke (after effects) to maya and scaling scene to real measure

As title. 
I have heard that camera tracking from nuke or after effects usually result very small and no accurate measurement. 
And in realistic rendering scene measurement should be identical to real. The fact is that when I need to 3d camera track a video means that I need to add realistic 3d object into the scene (to fake the existence of that object in real world), if nuke or after effects doesn't do scene or camera scale correctly how can I render correctly,just by scaling a 3d car smaller? then displacement map or normal map lighting ..etc can have issues.... 
Does anyone have a clue to get the scene size correct?
