Adjusting Segment Points In Marvelous Designer 9

I recently upgraded to Marvelous Designer 9, and I've run into a problem: In the previous version I had, if I was using the Edit Curve Point tool
while pressing "D", I could move a segment point without moving the
point's curvature handles. However, in MD9, while I still get a prompt
that tells me I can do that, nothing happens when I press the hotkey.
I found this feature really useful, and not being able to use it has been frustrating. I haven't been able to find any notes about this online or in the manual. Is there a setting I need to change, or am I missing something? Any help resolving this would be appreciated
