Renderman glass shader

Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to Renderman and I'm in need of some help with creating a glass shader. I modelled a crystal cut whisky glass an I've been trying to figure out why the other side of my glass is overly distorted when viewing through the front. I can't seem to fix it, I've adjusted the refraction and ior with no change to the distortion. I allowed caustics and tried changing the integrator from path tracer to VCM which also didn't change much. I've played with all the settings but it seems as though I'm missing something - I would be super grateful for any help or feedback!
