So I made this hoodie, and most of it looks fine, expect the strings. For some reason they "float" rather than rest on the body.

When I turned to Collision Thickness to 0, the strings got a bit closer to the fabric, but still not resting properly on the body.

How do I make it behave properly?

The pressure is set to 0 as well.
Do I need to apply pressure to it?

Hm.. too stiff?
On the other hand they look natural to me in regards to their (assumed by me from looking at it) thickness and stiffness 

Edit: maybe the resolution is too low (too)?

How do I change the stiffness?

It's under the assigned material. So select the fabric you want to edit, then right of the pattern window (under fabric) you have a heading Physical Property, then the preset you assigned (play around with those to change and test out various materials). Under that you have a heading: Detail, and under Detail is Thickness. If you select the pattern in the 2D window, to the right you find the Simulation Properties and some variables for the selected fabric.

I tried different material presets, but they didn't seem to have much of an effect it. I'm not sure if there is a specific property that I need to change there.

I'm adding the project file here just in case.
