Another dagger (chilanum or khanjar) from the late 16th century of Deccan origin.
The original description with the references reads: "
The hilt is flanked on either side with jade on a tang overlaid with a floral arabesque in gold. The rubbed blade is slightly trimmed." - Page 218,
The Arts of the Muslim Knights.
I recreated it in a better condition compared to the original with more of the gold and arabesque intact. Blade is also more clean.
Blender + Substance Painter + Marmoset as usual. SpecGloss workflow, 8K, 2 texture sets. Mid-poly: 71,000 vertices.
Thanks to all the guys over at discord for their help and feedback. And as always feedback and critique is welcome.
