Hey all,
Ive been setting up a foot control system in 3DS Max using 3 Ik chains linked from thigh-Foot, Foot-Toe, Toe-End. Its a standard setup, and usually seems to work ok. However, lately (its been a while since Ive set one up from scratch.). When I create point helpers that the IKs link to, the IKs do not follow properly. I go into the IK Parent Space in the IK panel, and switch it to IK Goal. (Ive seen this done in multiple tutorials) and it always flips my bones, throwing off the entire foot system.
I have followed the 3dS MAX tutorials, and others on youtube as well, but my system is not matching what I see in the tutorial. Theirs do not flip. Can anyone think of anything that could be causing this issue? I seem to be following all the steps in order, but it just doesnt work. I am using max 2019, and the tutorials are a bit older. Not sure if this would matter.
Thanks for any help!

I've never used IK to do a reverse foot setup. I just use linking and some constraints. Here's an example file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/66zqxxe1ndi3o4g/Reverse Foot - Example18.max?dl=0
