Can I delete the PAINTER_LOCK file ?

Hello everyone. I am organizing my folder after a small project. I just want to keep the main Substance Painter file. Can I delete the ".spp.painter_lock" file? Will it result in any lost data if I open the file next time?

Hi,

The lock file should only be there if that project is open in Painter at the time of viewing the files. As soon as you close Painter the lock file should disappear. If this is not the case you should be fine deleting it - wouldn't hurt to make a back up of the file, with Save As, JIC.
