I tried that but i am getting some visual glitches, i want to ask just to be sure that there is no setting or something that would allow me to do that.
I believe you can as long as you do it properly where a UV shell does not cross the 0-1 border. There's a guide in the wiki on Texture Baking where mirrored UVs are offset 1 unit before baking.

Should have explained it better, i forgot to mention that i want it to work as tileable material and not for baking, just for preview since would be easier than to export the textures to a game engine.

In Painter you can't paint on a mesh if uvs are outside 0-1
Any areas of the map not covered by a shell will be dilated/clamped (which is what those stretchy line bits are)
