Yeah we think there's a benefit here too. But we've had difficulty getting it to work out well.
Either the quality was inconsistent (people bought shirts but the greentooth ink was streaked with blue) or else the per-item cost was too expensive, or the shipping cost was crazy expensive.
It's hard to make it work and still be cost effective. If there's enough interest though, maybe we should start it up again. Who knows, maybe now it's different?
I think the last store we tried was Teespring. They delivered the streaky and low-ink colors. We removed it from the header Nov 11th, 2017. https://teespring.com
Before that it seems to have been Shopify, which we disabled Jan 6th, 2017. https://myshopify.com/
We tried out Spreadshirt Oct 14th, 2016. Can't recall why we dumped them. Probably too expensive. https://www.spreadshirt.com/
What we had at the end on Teespring. We also had a t-shirt, a women's scoop neck T, and a couple other things I think.
I got one of the coffee mugs, still have it, and use I it at work. Polycount text on the other side. Mug is white with a black printed wraparound, stopping either side of the handle, it's not a black mug with a white handle.
I have a couple gold stickers, a green sticker, a fridge magnet, and this little golden guy. Gifts from @r13 (thanks man). And a green sticker on the back of the car. Just to give you a sense of merch ideas. We'll talk about starting the store up again, I think it's time for another try!
Probably saw my luggage on twitter, I still have a couple of stickers from a GDC, I also have very few pins left from years ago and I would love if we could get more of those at some point!
I would love some pins! I already have a couple of Polycount stickers somewhere, but I am reluctant to actually put them on anything because it will spoil the stickers haha.

Derailing the thread a bit to talk about cats lol, but yeah I love him, he's super adorable and cuddly! He's a Maine Coon though, so he's going to get massive. I think he needs a giant Polycount cat carrier perhaps?

I loved Teespring because they would send another shirt fffffffffree if they delivered one that had low-ink colors. This way I got three shirts...for the price of one. If it's about a little miscoloring, I would rather have multiple comfortable-cotton shirts with those patterns than one. We're artists, we can even say the coloring is a design choice. I use them every week in the office nowadays. Did the reprinting of shirts affect you negatively, money-wise? Because if not, I don't see a problem with it
People complained about the smeared colors, posted photos, others said they wouldn't purchase. I wouldn't either. But that's cool that you're ok with it, good attitude to have!
Looking into options today.
Used to have a sticker on my old car. Just got rid of the car this week. Couldn't pry that beautiful thing off, hope the next owner likes it!
We tried doing this in the past, one person orders a box of merchandise, and as individuals purchase items they send them out piecemeal, but it's a mess to manage and a big time-suck. Unsustainable.
The ask was if any individuals felt that was something they'd want to buy for themselves. Sounds like not, and I don't blame you. Who really needs 50 stickers? I'll keep investigating suppliers.

Maybe you could provide some templates.

Realistically, I think he was more fascinated by the cursor, but a funny snap is a funny snap and a photo of a cute kitten might just tempt you
I would love to see a store pop back up. Def need a few more greentooth shirts, I'd take a hoodie and some stickers too.
4 LIFE!
that's a nice hairy greentooth!
This one is supposed to be pretty good for shirts.
