Our 3D Artist/Generalist will ideally have about 2-5 years of experience in modeling, rigging and texturing. They need to have extensive knowledge on how to model both organic, and hard surfaces. The 3D Generalist will need to fully understand 3D software such as Cinema4D, Maya, and or ZBrush. The 3D Generalist will work along with animators, creative director, and the project manager who will be making sure everyone is on schedule with projects and is completing them accurately.
What you’ll do
- Create high level CG elements for 3D animation short animated explainer videos
- 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, shading, rigging, animation, effects, compositing, and rendering
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and monitor output of quality and render efficiency
Ideal experience
- 2+ years’ experience in which you have worked on other film(s) creating 3D visuals
- High to Mid-level expertise in Cinema 4D, Maya and/or 3DS Max
- Knowledge of Z Brush
- Familiarity with Houdini, Nuke, Fusion, Shotgun, particle simulation, and scripting
- Works well in deadline-drive environment
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Proactive problem-solver; able to revise to creative notes as required
- Highly creative, with an eye for highly-quality visuals and technical perfection
