16GB on Radeon VII or 11GB on RTX 2080Ti?

I'm on lookout for new graphic card and basically as it stands I'm stuck with dillema. Does anyone here use radeon vii and can share their experience?

I'm debating between 2080ti and radeon vii.

art? gaming? what are you doing on your computer? Do you intend to make use of RTX features on the 2080ti? Do you care about freesync or gsync technology? Do you care about price a whole lot? Are you looking at aftermarket cards or just the cards from Nvidia/ AMD?

I would go for an Nvidia if you are going to use Substance a lot. RTX/Optix support for the baking is a game changer.

This was a big deciding factor for me in the end as my bakes are lightning fast now.

Well, I want it primarily with idea of using it for 3D modelling. And from what i noticed thus far is that when i'm working on bit more complexed model, Substance Painter is really eating up my memory.

RTX sure as hell sounds very enticing and gsync is something i would use in games for sure... 144hz without screentearing is just pleasure to look at.

In terms of price... it's semi-important. While it'd be great to pay less, paying more to get better product isn't a deal brake.
