Good bootstrap resources for beginners

I bought a course on udemy but it explained very briefly or not at all what certain components in the code were used for.  I then tried a online tutorial on tutorial republic but some things were missing in the code

...and again, Python would be your best bet simply because I'm an old JAVA nugget from back in the day and as a high level OOP framework you'll be better served learning if CG Programming, In-Game Logic or Writing Tools...etc, is also an interest.
