Hi folks.
I have begun with a new project and I have set my self up to reach two goals with this one.
1# improve on my environment skills.
2# focus on using the Unreal engine for this project.
The style that I am aiming for will be of stylized approach.
These are roughly made blockout models and I also did a quick light bake to it with different values to test the scene out in various atmospheres.
Critics and comments are always appreciated.
Cheers !

Another Update about my environment piece.
There has not been any new major updates since last time but I thought to share them anyway.
One aspect that has changed is the name of the project.
It would be interesting if I could make this city feel like it fits into the Warhammer universe. A town for the Empire faction.
Hopefully it can be done but the challenge is that I don't have any fitting characters to add into this scene to really visualize it.
Without any characters it can look just like a fantasy town.
Plan B is to have it aimed at least to fit the second statement if it falls to that.
( I'm okey with that .)
So for the actual update then.
I have changed the scene a bit more.
- Added a ground plane to it and also rotated each buildings so they are not as 90 Degres as they where before.
For the texturing part I tend to utilize the Trim method and here I have created some templates on materials and textures I guess I will be needed.
I'm guessing these templates will be updated and changed variously under this project so I wont look so much into this atm.
I have also done a quick analysis on some existing images to narrow down what materials/ textures I will be needed.
These are.
-Wood (Trim)
-Stone (Trim)
-Metal and bronze ( Trim)
There will be some unique atlases for some props but more on that later.
That's it for today.
Stay tuned for more.
Cheers.
