Looking for critique on a portrait piece WIP

Just a little homage to my man JC Leyendecker. Something about it looks off to me and I can't quite place what it is. Though I'm sure there's a bunch of stuff that can be improved. I'm also not quite sure if the purple hair is working. Any insights you could give would be greatly appreciated.
