Been like 12 moths since i've last worked on character. Entire body was made from sphere and then projected onto base mesh to make difficult areas later to sculpt further down the line
I would really welcome feedback on anatomy so i can employ it in my character
Alright, been a while since last update and contest is long overdue.... but that's fine, rather than rushed mediocre character let's make something jawdroping, right?
Right now in middle of remaing concepts for jewelry because the previous style just wasn't very appealing.
More progress on texturing seems like it's the last straight till all non-hair/fur related stuff is done. Ended up rebaking whole character and splitting it into 4x 4k maps for body and 3x 4k for accessories to get the details right.
Fur is prety much done, placeholder rope got replaced with actual rope, some flyaway cards are now in place and right now playing about with face texture before I move onto hair hopefully this weekend.
I hope you guys like it, C&C welcome and sought after
I`m new to the whole game design as I'm learning at Full sail university to someday have a chance to do beautiful art like this, from seeing the first creation. Through the process of watching the details come to life I`m absolutely looking forward to seeing the end piece of this character,
Congrats on this stunning creation shes beautiful. Keep up the good work.
Most recent wip for you guys. I think all that's really left to do now is to finish blending hair with scalp, reduce the amount of white paint by a little bit because right now it feels overwhelming and add jewelry to dreadlocks because they' look bit dull right now.
Then just pose, light and render
I wanted to give a fancy turntable gif but my stupid ass couldnt figure out a way to make it work

I have some suggestions (someone probably knows a much better one.) Adobe after effects, import the video, export animated gif, or .png/ .tiff sequence. Adobe photoshop, (not entirely sure if it imports video but same deal here) Use a random web site, look up video to gif, there are previews and they allow compression and resolutions before finalizing, you might have to sign up for one. (i never remember the ones i use, so can't name one of the top of my head.)
Really great work good luck on the search and don't put negative thoughts about yourself in the air, you obviously aren't what you said since you created this piece and people enjoy it. so you are doing something right.

Alright, black and white preview of the final pose. Still experimenting with light and there are some last minor tweaks to be done... but hopefully tomorrow this 11 month endeavour will come to closure.
Ok guys, after 11 months journey, with help from amazing mentoring support from Laura Gallagher and Arno Schmitz, this character has finally came to a closure. If it wouldn't be for all the feedbackand support i got from everyone I would've never gotten to this point. So big thanks to everyone who helped me along the way!
