After getting some feedback from this forum a week or so ago I've been working on replicating a model from a game an existing game. As it's a fairly old game and model I'm trying to bring it up to modern standards. I've been referencing mostly the cinematic 'high poly' model and the in--game model in order to retain important aspects that make it recognisable from a players aspect.
Firstly is the model, second is the standard I'm aiming for. Thirdly the current mesh.
The vast majority of the modelling is done, many parts have been duplicated for the sake of a complete model to show. In reality they will be duplicated once UV'd and there a few smaller details to be added such as the auto-turret on the right sight of the tank. As well as a few more sub-divs on the hull and turret.
If I had one specific question, it would be; how many UV Maps/Texture Sets wuld you recommend for a model like this? Thanks for your time and feedback,
