Hey guys, this is a character I've been working on recently to try and improve my character skills and learn some new processes. I've been meaning to post it here for sometime to get critique but kept putting it off for one reason or another. Anyway here it is.

I'm leaving the head as it is for the moment until I get the body finalised, there's a few things I need to finish and change first then I'll likely go back and review it.

    Finally managed to get some more time to work on this piece courtesy of being stuck at home.

    Reworked the facial shape and hair along with going over the textures a lot happier with the look overall.



    Finalising the retopology and details on the body and then will get an AO pass up.

    Really nice work on the skin. That eyeliner is a bit dated looking. Have you tried looking up something like "modern smoky eye" for a more modern take?

    @Carabiner thanks for the feedback I've updated the face textures for a more smokey kind of look, didn't want to go too far with it but think it blends better into the rest of the face, thanks :)



    Almost done with the Low poly just a few bits left to get finished, though its sitting quite high at 75k poly's so might look to reduce that a bit and remove some unnecessary poly's as some areas are definitely denser than they need to be.

    Finished with baking the normal and AO maps, moving onto texturing soon. Any critique on things I can improve on is always appreciated.

    looking good! have you considered adding more "flyaways" and "stray" hairs, IMO it will really help add to your all ready great looking hair

    @jose.fuentes thanks for the input, I definitely plan to go back over the hair as I still feel I could improve on it and I'll look at adding some more flyaways.

    On another note here's a quick colour test using polypaint to see what kind of direction to take the textures for the body.
