I have a question which might be a bit stupid but i just cant figure it out. I am trying to compose an image in Nuke using all my passses straight from vray(gi,lighting, specular etc). Now watching a couple of tutorials everybody is assigning a new shuffle node to each pass and when they click on the shuffle node and then on the RGBA option there is a list of all the passes so that you can assign them  accordingly. Mine doesn't show the list with the passes and I am wondering what am I doing wrong.Am I supposed to set some kind of source first, and if so, how?I'll be attaching a screeshot so
that you can see what I mean.

It been a long time since i used Nuke.... that drop down is only for the channel present in the selected node.

    RGB : for the colors
RGBA : colors + premult alpha
    Etc

Does your image have additional channel like depth ?
If so it will be present there, if your passes are on all separate files you need to compose them by layering them on top of each other with the add node(Not sure of node name).

    I hope it helps.

are you shure the data is inside your exr file?
could you see the channels if you use the dropdown menue above the viewport.?
or use a contact sheet node to see all channels in the exr.
