Here's my take on Shana from the PS1 RPG: The Legend of Dragoon. This originally was supposed to be created for the Retrogasm 2018 Art Competition but i wasn't able to complete it on time so i figured I'd just take my time with it and make it look great instead of rush it and have the quality drop. I originally wanted to work on Rose but noticed someone else was approaching their take on her so i ended up working on Shana instead. It was a challenge working with the organic yet hardsurface elements as portrayed from the original design. Learned a lot along the way of things to do and things not to do. Modeled in Max, Sculpted in Zbrush, Textured in Substance, and rendered in Marmoset.
I wish i started my progress thread here but totally haven't been active on polycount. But i plan to be alive here more often!
