this is a highpoly model, its all quads. if you could look at the images and tell us if you see anything of concern, I did the main body bit twice cause I could see 2 ways of doing it, second way I used a curve for the original shape.
also Im having trouble making the cutter/blade thing cause there is that sudden bevel area which is the blade, any suggestions to make that nice and clean without artifacts popping up?

There are many ways of making a highpoly but i will point you to 3 of them.
Subdivision surface aka ''Subdiv''
For this method wich i think was the one you were trying to use, you don't need full quads, but you need to understand how the surface will smooth to use edge loops and suporting edges to get the shape you want. This method is kinda dying hardsurface objects for games, but still useful for simple objects and to get some specific shapes.

Bevel modifier.
This is pretty straight foward, people tend to use this method with help of addons like hardops.
