Hi

im doing some subdiv model practice and am having my usual pain of pinching in corners :(

Would anybody be kind enough to push me in the right direction?  Im guessing its mainly an edge flow issue, but i also struggle with getting the surface as smooth as possible when pulling edges around all the time.

(im working in maya and have added some creased on the thick lines to minimise the amount of loops)

thanks for your help!
Nick

it would be useful if you clould post unsubdivided wireframe.

But here's my 5 cents. you need to add some extra geometry/loops and try to distribute them soemwehat evenly so subd can make the best average estimation and round the mesh as you want.

Thanks for that - ive tried recreating what you've done (i think) on a simple sphere - and it looks fine from that angle, but when i rotate to the left I see a pinch. Im wondering if im doing something wrong or just being too picky?  Thanks again!
