This is my work done during Ryan Benno's mentorship program. It is still a WIP so I plan on updating my progress here, would love to get some feedback from you guys. Here is an Artstation link with more pictures: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lgQaO
The Scene is coming together better than the last pictures. I like the fact that you turned down the strong lighting on the previous pictures. It killed the overall mode.
My problem with this scene is that something seems so off. Co uld be that the lighting is dull for such a massive scene, or that all the pillars in the scene are just to "normal". They take up so much space that the focal point being the stairs up to the chair just dissappears. Lead the players (watchers) eyes to the chair, being that the flags maybe point to that place? Maybe make the lighting focus more on that center then the overall scene.
Maybe foliage climbing up the pillars and covering the "clean" surface. It breaks the straightness in the scene.
