Hey, simple question but unsolvable for a noob like it seems

When dragging a imm brush along a mesh and then while holding the position and you hold than the shift key, the curve "wraps" around the mesh:

but as you can see the ends of the curve are too close together, how can we shorten the curve so the imm brush looks better?

Also, google:

As for me, I'd just turn on curve snap and redraw the thing. Only takes a second.
I literally just googled wrong things liks: "IMMBrush shorter" etc. (>.<)
Anyway thanks for the link! There where some good guides in there!
What for me worked:
1. select brush "ZRemesherGuides" and draw a line or a circle (with shift)
2. draw 2 lines where the cut should be
3. while holding alt key draw line where shown in the pictures to delete these parts again:
i let the part with "7-8-9-10" out because it is the same as "5-6"
4. now we should have a shorter curve (yeyyyh..)
5. select the imm brush and click on the curve
I hope this makes sense and is useful for someone!
