Hey guys I'm new to character design and I have been working on the new design for the main character (https://www.facebook.com/asterionthegame) I'm getting close to finish the sculpting part but I would love critiques, opinions and anything you would like to say! Thank you!
If you can still edit the sculpt and if you want the Minotaur to exude a persona of 'strength', I'd advise making the facial structure a bit rougher and sharper. At the moment, it does have kind of a soft/kind/playful demeanor at the moment, which could be what you were going for, but imo it'd be better if it looked more like this while swinging a giant axe:
Just an emphasis on harder edges and shapes, and some wrinkles. You don't have to fully compromise the human/main character elements of the face, but I think it'd look less "disconnected" during an attack animation.

Thank you so much!! you are absolutely right! We want for our game a young character, but that portrait strenght and courage so your advice really help us out! Of course I can still give him a few details, specially on the face! With your advice I will give him a few tweaks before doing retopology thank you!
Here are some updates!: I did a reboot on the personality and work on the nose so that he could look more like a bull. Also I did a simple render on keyshot to see how the color is going to work. I will work tomorrow giving him the last tweaks on the face before starting the retopology phase.
This is the last render (For now) of our hero Asterion, I will take a break and work on the environments now. I used a combination of PBR textures and handpainted workflow to get the color of the body and the hair.
