Below is the rough brief however we will walk you through the project over an initial voice call where more detail will be provided. The artist will then have the opportunity to ask further questions.

Approach:
The brief below is provided to give the artist a general sense of art direction and application. However we are mainly relying on the artist's creative input to help shape and flesh out the final visual. We would like to see your contributions in building on top of what we have already provided.

Outline:
We require a talented 3D artist to model, texture and animate 3D assets (AAA quality) for our new mobile game.

The items needed are:
a) Indoor stadium.
b) Outdoor stadium.
c) 4 different types of hurdles.
d) Dressage ground markings and assets.

Background:
In our game players will navigate the game world to reach one of the stadium arenas. Once reached the player can either participate in the horse show or become an active spectator. These stadiums will be used for dressage horse shows or horse jumping competitions.




Details:
The different stadiums are essentially the same arena with just certain elements toggled on or off. So they will share the same assets like the pavilion stands, hurdles, dressage markings.

The pavilion stands "seats" need to be modular, so that the game developers can place the block of seats "pavilions" side by side in different arrangements. Corner pavilion stands will also be needed.

The pavilion canopy "shaded cover" used in the outdoor stadium will be toggled off in the indoor arena. Similarly the ceiling "roof" of the indoor stadium will be toggled off for the outdoor arena.

The pavilion stands "seats" must be made accessible to the player. Player characters will enter the stadium and then either chose to take part in the competition or rather spectate. This decision will be done by freely navigating into the stadium via the main entrance. The inner barrier "perimeter" wall / fence will separate the players from the performance area as they enter the stadium. The barrier wall / fence will need a door to grant users access to the center staging area. If they choose to rather spectate they will navigate themselves along the outer perimeter of the stadium towards the pavilion stands. These stands are navigated using the stairs cases that are placed as aisles in between the seats.

The perimeter wall / fence separating the spectators from the horse performances will require unique assets for each of the two different stadiums. The indoor stadium will used a solid perimeter wall where as the outdoor stadium will use a perimeter fence.  The overall visual feel for the indoor stadium is to have a warm wooden feel. The outdoor stadium will have a white picket fence feel.

Animations:
Stadium -  Animations will be needed for the opening and closing of gates and doors. We also require the flags to be animated on top of the pavilion stands.
Hurdle animation - 1) Top pole falling, 2) All three poles falling. 3) Hurdle (A) will require a flag animation. Hurdle (D) no longer requires any animation as this will be done in game. 

Specifications:
1) FBX file format for the 3D models.
2) Poly count must be super low to accommodate for mobile performance limitations.
3) All textures must be placed on one singular atlas, 1024 x 1024.
4) Bake the ambient occlusions. 
5) PNG file format for textures.
6) Animations are needed for assets such as doors, gates, flags, falling poles etc.
