For work on a well-known AAA series we are looking for a tech savvy new team member whose skill set should be located in the spectrum between technical artist and level designer.
Our core team of seasoned game industry professionals is still a small group, so this is your chance to influence the workflow and company culture of cView.
Responsibilities
- Explore a proprietary engine and toolset and mentor new team members in its usage
- Contribute to pipeline improvements, understand the technology requirements and restrictions
- Guide fellow artists in producing optimized content
- Create story-driven, single player shooter levels with memorable gameplay events using proprietary level building tools and scripting language
Requirements
- At least one shipped 1st person or 3rd person AAA console/PC title that you’ve worked on as a tech artist or level designer.
- Experience working with a game engine (Unreal Ed, Unity, CryEngine, etc), using scripting tools to orchestrate events, and implementing 3D assets into the pipeline
- Good knowledge of key level design concepts and the ability to apply them
- Good knowledge of gameplay mechanics and how to implement them within the given restrictions of a level production pipeline
- Experience with scripting (e.g. Python, LUA, Blueprint etc.)
- Balance quality with efficiency while working under tight deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written, in English
