Hi everyone im working on the uvs of my model and got this shoelaces uved and wanted to ask you if there is a way to make very little polygon the same size in each shell. thanks in advance! i downloaded the nsuv addon.
You're going to want to select the edges that you want to sew it along and get it sewn.
i got it to work thanks brian, but theres polygons that are smaller than others like in this picture. is there a way to stretch everything as equal? or do i need to move edges manually?
If those are all equal in the 3D space, try with "unfold along V". I don't remember if Maya 2017 exposes that command already or not. If not, you need to open the unfold legacy options and select the option "unfold constraint: vertical".
