Hey guys!
I need your help regarding low poly character creation. Is it better when your character is 1 single mesh where everything is connected(clothes, hair accesories). Like i have here, everything is connected and split only by seams.

Or is it better to have those parts separate, but still one object. (not mine model, all rights go to Marc Brunet, and his tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOgydOutFbg )

Or the 3rd last option is to have accesories as separate objects with their own UV maps. (Galvin Goulden,

I would love to know the answer. Because i have been struggling with this for a long time.
Thank you in advance.

Also, I'd highly recommend when beginning to learn 3D modeling that you impose a strict / limited poly budget on yourself in order to learn how to avoid being wasteful. Check out the Low-Poly and Hand Painted threads to see what's possible.
