colour variations are nice.. but I fell it lacks storytelling. all the characters are looking in different angles and less connection(eye contact) between each other..like they are randomly placed. Do you think tristana's left hand can hold the other side of the bike's handle?
My commentary for this, the colours are really good, but I can only see Tristana's "Bewitched" skin face. In the sketch, it looked very different and made me think more of poppy. I don't know what Ekko's meant to be holding, but um, okay I guess there's a reason in there somewhere he's not using his own weapon. Blitz looks pretty cool, I'm hoping to see him finished at least. Well good luck with your entry, I just wanted to say something about Tristana's face.
we can see the difference dude... is it very easy to steal someone's car , repaint it and it is become yours. we are an artist and its very painful if u see our artworks are used and floating randomly without knowing us... https://www.artstation.com/artwork/gQ4Je

may be he can use your artwork as a reference ..its not painful if u see someone use your artwork as a reference.... when we make any artwork we are follow references which is already done by artist.. that's mean we copied ??? . if possible i am in your place then am too happy coz some one use my artwork as a reference.... ..
I want to say something. This was my first contest and as this was my first attempt. I have missed certain things as I was unaware. My intention was never to hurt anyone as I respect artists and their work.I will make sure that such things won't happen in future.
whatever happened it is totally unfortunate, but the Final quality of artwork you served here is awesome. I can see the creativity and quality in it. keep up the great work and keep inspire us with another great work...
Hey Supradip! You did amazing and fantastic work. We all use reference, and we know how it can be utilized beautifully for final presentation. I think, we all are here to participate this fantastic contest, show our creativity, share our inputs, appreciate good works. I will say, please ignore silly comments. Because you missed to post references you have followed, some people became so busy on criticizing, collecting your reference and forgot that they could have produce some good piece of artwork. Cheers
@ deepakp you sounds like very defending, I think you both are old school mate
Regarding the usage of references, artist don't use reference for beautification(or making art), we use it to get clear Idea. Not to COPY the reference exactly...If we want any reference, we use real photograph not any other artist's work.
If you are using other's artwork, Then you should have that courtesy to mention original artist name.
And I am not busy collecting reference because that reference you are talking about is MY ARTWORK..So stop talking like doltish. Rather than defending the wrong thing, you should focus on your artwork to improve it and that will be good for you.
Been wondering if I should comment or just leave this. But I have to advocate for @morry_we , and all artists should here. That is what I would want for myself as professional trying to make a living and gain recognition. @morry_we you have an awesome piece of Junkrat art there. @supradip, referencing artists work in this way is too far and is in fact very close to plagiarism. Unfortunately you lose all credibility with this piece. Take @morry_we ‘s advice and use reference in the way it is supposed to be used. This will really make you a better artist and you will feel more pride in your work. Draw your ideas from your own knowledge of anatomy and imagination. Start your sketches from scratch and only use reference to help you along. And use as much as you need. Try to learn the difference of copying and referencing. You will find a lot of help online. Look at schoolism and level-up etc. You clearly have serious skill as an artist. If you don’t know if you are overstepping the mark, put yourself in the other artists shoes. Would you be ok if someone used your art this way? If you struggled for days to get the anatomy right at a certain difficult angle with flair, exaggeration and style, and then someone came along and just took it... How would you feel? Draw something like that from scratch and realise how hard it is and how many years of practice goes into it. It’s like Picasso said, the sketch didn’t take him 10 minutes, it took him 40 years.
For anyone still supporting this, this message is mostly for you so that you know this isn't ok and so that you don't make the same mistake. In the industry this would become a legal issue. If your art becomes good enough one day that people start to plagiarise it and even make money off your hard work, you will quickly understand that it is painful and is really a threat to your livelihood. If you are still ok with that then you are a complete sucker.
Supradip I sincerely hope your next piece of art is a true representation of your skill and you go about it the right way. You have apologised and may very well not have realised you were overstepping. I wish you the best of luck with the next piece.
