finnei this does not show it but this is an unusually flexible rig. the character was built to fit the rig not the reverse. will post others that better show flexibility
can someone look at this and let me know if this is readable. last night I was forced to use a computer other than my own. and I noticed the animation was playing back 3 times faster than it is on my computer. this is a problem with playback speed. I slowed down the fps of the video file
If you were using maya, the time slider was probably set to "Play every frame". If you run into that again, just right-click the time slider and make sure its set to Real-time playback.
You could also make sure the fps is correct. Though this is often saved into your Maya scene file, so it probably wasn't that.
there is no problem with the original 3d file. but the animation is playing back in an engine to get a video file. I am using screen capture. the screen capture, captures at a faster rate to make sure it does not drop any frames. I just have to slow it down after

this may not look impressive but the shape I can have it take. is not preset. bones no morph targets

i did this walk just to show the ruffles were animated. but became side tracked by the walk
I dislike the stiff arms that are common in 3d. so I did some loose arms but only one is animated
