I am going to add a Camille-Bee, because I really like the idea of her coat beeing wings and her legs stingers. I could use some feedback on these poses though.
Have you considered less action-based poses, I feel like the nature of these skins are more playful so maybe something less aggressive? It all really depends on your final concept, because say if you go with the syndra version where she has a little crown(my personal favorite lol) It's too fun of a concept to get all serious with if that makes sense. Although I am thinking now, that you don't have expressions on these poses which would really change the attitude of them. So never mind lol. Anyways They're are all pretty similar i'd have to admit so i can't really choose between them. I think that the stingers on Camille should longer though. They need to be big enough to support her standing which atm they don't seem to be. stream of though comment as I just stare at your work, hope something is helpful. I love camille and Syndra and your concepts are looking great so I am very excited to see more!

Good point! I was struggling to get Syndra's dark character in unison with the more fun skin. Syndra wont have much expressions still, since she's supposed to have these dark bee eyes. It's going to look kinda cute.
Nice concepts So this would be Syndra or Camille..? I think it can work well on both but I like it more on Camille champion ^^ Look forward for more of this champ
I did a bunch of thumbs and these are the ones I liked best. A is a groupshot of Syndra, Camille and Jarvan. I like this one best since it's a bit playful while visualizing the Queen Bee aspect. The layout still needs to be worked on. I particularly dont like the area in the center where there's 2 arms and 2 legs criss crossing. B is very similar to the SKT Syndra splashart and might work better without Camille. C is a rather classic display with a more playful fun gesture. Cute, but not really Syndra, eh ?
I totally love your idea! I'd choose D from your last sketches it looks the best to me or maybe instead of arms up how about lowering them as if she's about to use R and "guide" the beez where to go to?
they are all great...I really like de the D just like DawnHeart said maybe comanding the bee gesture would look great on it...another thing is like.... is Syndra and I think one that one oh her traits is that she floats...and on those thumbnails shes on the ground...maybe do the perspective a little bit more extreme to give the sensacion of she being n a higher ground...or move the legs in a floaty kinda way (?)
I think that A and D are the best choices! the composition looks nice so far,i'd like to see more details of the skin's concept though ,are you gonna update more of it???
Sealinside: I'm currently working on integrating better storytelling or any kind of story into the image. Just her posing in the swarm works on a basic level, but it's kinda boring. I'm thinking about something like a fight between Spiders (Elise?) and Bees.
Alright, it took longer than I wanted but I have the image figured out now! the thumbnails so far had a problem: The background was bland and didnt help to tell a story. Also I wanted to convey a feeling of power and confidence that I envisioned for Queen Bee Syndra.
edit: looking at it again, I guess she is a little bit too centered...gotta fix that.
I love the idea omg She is such a cool character and I can't wait too see the final work *_* !!! the last sketch you did is really good, and different it has dynamic and it shows the skins as well, all the best!!!
Absolutely love the idea, very refreshing to have a fun skin for a serious badass character like Syndra !
I also think that she is too centered, and for me the left part is the less interesting to have. We just need the information of a backlight on the left part, and keeping a large part on the right can lead to more spiders and space for magic effects and story telling to me !
Nice! The pose looks right! I like the flow and I like the way background underlines her gesture The only thing - I would bring a little bit more dynamic to the clothlike dress parts , I got your idea (its like her wings) ( but you know, its optional) Overall great idea! I am looking forward to see next stages!
I noticed that I forgot her hair! And what do you think about this alternative swarm for the background ? It's pretty messy right now, but I feel like it actually works better. The addition of the hair just forces a lot of lines that lead to Syndra which is fine, but the BG really didnt need to do that as well. I changed the perspective for the bees to give it more depth.
The only thing I am still a little unsure about it what to do with her "wings". One is barely visible in the back as a thin line and the other is that curved form in the front. Oh and I'll have to find a design for the corset.
I'm sorry I'm too blind to see the wings xD But I think it looks really good! How about adding some expression on her bee's? Like making them looking grumpy or so (idk could also be 3 different ones like on SG)
WIP COLOR! For now I removed the swarm. With colors and light, the image was way too busy and hard to read. I will first nail everything else and see how I can add it back in later.
@DawnHeart Having her bees have emotions would be a last detail, but I will keep it in mind.
Uuuuuh these particle effects on the bees look amazing and fancy af! I rly wish this would be a real skin (still my personal hero is the clueless bee in the back xD)
@DawnHeart Thanks, Im a little unsure about the values on Syndra. Here's a brighter version (dont mind the missing magic effects) I still have that uneasing feeling like there's something off about the layout.
But if you want for the layout you can: - Crop your image in a 1920*1080 ratio. - Get ride of the white corner on the left, it's eye catching and serves neither the narrative nor the composition. - Make Syndra bigger so that the bee on the first plan is not tangent to her and the one in the third plan has it's ray passing behind her. It will ad a bit of impact and depth to your image. - Draw the action on the far right a bit clearer or get rid of it It seems you used a grid to compose, maybe you can stick to it more.
@atanu2ghosh Thanks, I dont think I will do much with the background. The bee swarm adds so much noise already, I dont think it needs more.
@Innocent_Prime Thanks, those are some good thoughts. I will see what I can do. The only part I am not sure I understand is what you mean with the action on the right. Do you mean what the spider is doing ?

I think you're right with the swarm making too much noise already. Maybe you should crop it a bit? like only leaving the bee swarm which is behind Syndra and therefore cut out the huge swarm ahead of her? That way you could actually make a background (what about a beautiful meadow which is under attack by the spiders? ... something like that)

I decided to drop the group shot and put Syndra into full focus.

Testing detail variations now.

It's coming along.
Thanks, the bee is a hint of storytelling in the image.
@Supradip
Thank you, I feel like it's too saturated and too red right now. I will try to fix that part.

Yes, exactly!
Thanks for the feedback everyone. It was a lot of fun.
