[Riot Art Contest 2017] Reindeer Soraka

I saw how some other people marked the edit dates, so I'll try too - 12/14/2017
I colored some more, and now it's only hair, cane, clothing and some details left. And then after it, I'll start working on background C&C appreciated!

So I started working on the face a bit. It might look pretty dumb from close-up, but when zoomed out it looks pretty okay. I'll start with the eyes and horn now.Quick note - I made one topic about this idea, but that topic was for all ideas and sketches I had. This topic will be nominated ONLY for Reindeer Soraka ^^

I'm really sorry if it looks like total thrash, I'm just 14, and just started studying anatomy, so I apologize for that ;-;

Here's some sketches I did


EDIT 1- I started grayscale and then I filled it with base colors

So uhh, I started shading it, and after it, I'll add some more details for the eyelashes, eyebrows, probably neck and ofc the fur that's left.

I Think that I should make her legs a tiny bit more buffy, since she runs a lot

BAM! New stuff. I still want to change lips, add some fur and maybe even change some colors. P.S. Finished the cotton/fluff thingy, and started coloring hair

Awesome, i think you should roughly block in what kind of colours will be in the background since it will affect the colors of her fabrics/skin/hair ect.

I have a suggestion, Make her cheeks lighter like the new reindeer poppy. also give her some bottom lashes, she'll look cute

So I started coloring hair, and I made cheeks a bit brighter and eyes a bit darker (Thank you TheIceWolves so much for the feedback!!!) I'm thinking about darkening her skin/fur in some places, like ears begining, since it looks like a bad rendering now

I finished the hair, and then I added a belt with bells on her, since the dress looked bland. If anybody sees a mistake, or something that I should correct, please, tell me, I really need to improve! C&C needed!

I tried to draw the present , but I'm still bad at drawing materials, especially fabrics, so I think that I'll finish this entry quickly, just for practise, and then start studying textures and materials.

I tried to correct present, but it didn't work out, so I switched it with jingle bells. Ugh... I still have to learn how copper light and shade works ~.~ I'll go for material studies after I finish the picture. I also base-colored the environment, but I still don't like few colors, like fireplace or some decos. And, I kinda wanted to include few easter eggs in decos, like Dabbing penguin (3rd shelf, 1st deco), Poro King (3rd shelf, 2nd deco), Snow day Bard mug (2nd shelf, 1st deco) and winter wonder Orianna (1st shelf, 2nd deco).
Shelves will be above the hair*
Light will come out from Christmas tree and fireplace*

So I added wood textures, and now the hair messed up... Eh, It's still just a training for me now, and I'm really tired to fix it, because I have tons of school work...I'll try better at my other works, since they won't have deadlines...C&C appreciatted...

I started drawing quality over quantity, because the school is starting soon, and I have to rewrite tons of tests, also need to do house chores and wait for whole month until next holiday.... This contest was a great training for me, and I understood a lot of my mistakes, so huge thanks for Riot for making this contest! I learned from my mistakes, and I will study from them from now on
If anybody has their opinion, I'd be glad to hear it, since I'm still young and learning

oh I think you got me wrong, I meant to make her whole cheeks a lighter tone, not just the dots. Like this

just a suggestion you could try.
