Hello fellas,

Years ago I started this guy, learning ZB and all. Left him to rot slowly in his symmetric pose until weeks ago -after an unfortunate layoff at work- I decided to make good use of that time and finish him.

Sadly enough I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to posing. It's always a pain to pull in ZB to me. I am wondering if I should bite it and learn to rig in Maya already, but in the meantime, I would love if you guys could give me some feedback on what I got so far.

The cape is really WIP and will be re-worked in Marvelous Designer and I haven't posed the fingers yet but you get the overall idea; Spawn holds the head of a guy he just beheaded (Billy Kincaid).

The head and wings aren't part of the body yet so I can easily tweak them.

Thx a lot for your time guys!

    I like it.
    Some feedback>

First thing that my eye notices is the similar curves that each wing bone has. If you take a look at a bats wing, they tend to have varied curves, some of them C curves, some a little straighter, and some even a subtle S curve, which I think would help him feel more dynamic off the "bat" (sorry).

His face shapes are reading well. I would suggest doing some A-symmetry of the large shapes, especially in the teeth and horns. It will make him uglier and more intimidating.

Gauntlets are cool but kind of obscured by the angles, and the hands are mirroring eachother. Also the way he is facing the head in his hand obscures the head a bit, so it might help if you dropped the arm holding the head, let it hand a little bit to his side. Less like he is admiring his handiwork, and more like he is just holding it by the hair. This could help break symmetry, and show off the head and gauntlets better. If you do this I would also raise the bad-guys head/gaze to connect more with the viewer. More intimidating and shows off the work you did on his face.

I saw the plinth you did in another post somewhere. I really like the plinth, it would be cool to find a way to connect him to it so you could eventually do a 3d print, he has the right level of detail and big shapes that would make a print pretty cool.

Thx a lot for the feedback. Here's some progress. Will check out the wings soon. Need to wrap up the hands. Painful stuff!
