TheIceWolves: Sorry for the late reply, I used Substance Painter and 3DCoat for the AO and made a mix of the two plus a cavity map in Photoshop. FemCharles: Thank you! (but which one? hehe) ^^ Thank you very much guys for the kind words! Hopefully those of you who expected a brown and green texture won't be disappointed. I went for a fall color scheme since he had so many mushrooms on him. Meeps are looking like tiny tennis balls. Perfect for a tennis serve Uuuussh!!! I'll probably make some final touches on the texture before the renders, but for now I'm gonna try to do a quick rig and start the final poses.
Wow, thank you guys so much for the good vibes! I've been busy with the rig and lost some time with that. Pretty much have to relearn that part every three years. But anyway, I think I'm done with the renders, so we'll see if I have time to do something else before the deadline. Hope you like it! Cheers!
So beautiful Adrien *u* I love the charisma and great presentation that you had made on your character!! Its always a pleasure and source of inspiration watch your work man Best wishes buddy
It looks fantastic @Goldo_O! I love how you showed the character using its abilities in game. I have one question how did you get the black outline for the character? is an special shader?
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback guys! So glad you like it :') Andres this is just a "stroke" layer style in Photoshop. Its actually not black but a dark blue or green like in LoL I think. I'm not using any fancy shader: just an unlit material in marmoset3 and this outline in toshop. Marmoset1 had a nicer outline effect that was similar to LoL, not only inking the silhouette but also the main shapes overlapping each other. In Marmoset 2 and 3 this option disappeared as far as I can tell, so I'm just using toshop with the stroke effect and a couple pen paths where needed to separate shapes. Hope that helps!
Thanks a lot guys! Well, that's it, I submitted my entry. Here is a little animation of Bard and his chicks as well as one last picture after a hard day of work on the battlefield.

Loving the colors, I'd personally boost the levels a tiny and push the values on some parts though.
